jamesmoriarti:

"My time is hardly wasted here, Moran. I am precisely where I want to be." He strolled up to the hospital bed and sat down on the edge, smoothing the blanket out next to him.

image

"Tell me, Sebastian. Do you have a lot of debts? How are these hospital bills going to be paid if you are…indisposed.

Sebastian’s eyes fixed distracly on the hands of the man as he spoke calmly and stroke the blanket. Fingers and hands well-groomed, just as the rest of him - he clearly wasn’t one to punch and kick, although he did look like someone who could pay a lot of people to do it for him. But it truly didn’t seem like he had any intention to hurt him, therefore…what did he want at all?
"They found me beaten and bleeing in an alley, I have been brought here. No bills for such emergencies. As soon as I’ll get better I’ll go away." he said with a shrugh. It was truly the last of his problems: "And since you seem to know a lot about me I am pretty sure you also know the answer about whether I have many debts or not, don’t you?"

Oh c’mon, don’t be silly. There are so many people to kill, I hardly think that we will ever happen to be out of job. Besides, there are a lot of other things we can indulge in doing, us both - SM
You know what they say, the only two jobs who never suffer any crisis are killers and funeral directors, that in fact also live thanks to us. Interesting - SM

Actually, nevermind.+MC

He’s too melodramatic for that+MC

That actually is slightly interesting…maybe we can be funeral directors if out of a job? You could definitly pull off the tux.+MC

Too melodramatic for something said in relation to him is really a sentence that makes me, how do they say? Laugh out loud? Something like that anyway. - SM

Honestly that’s a wonderful idea, I don’t even know why I don’t use it as cover up already. Who would suspect two beeautiful and well dressed funeral directors? Besides, I have a pretty friend at the morgue that could help us with the details. - SM

"Jesus christ, Sebastian." Jim rolled his eyes before removing his Westwood and shoes, leaving him in his boxers, which he didn’t mind getting messed up.

Sebastian let out a sigh exhausted turning towards his boss just as he took of his suit and remaining speechless for a second.
"And I didn’t even have to offer you a drink." he joked raising an eyebrow, scratching his temple and leaving a stray of blood on his own forehead: "Well, unfortunately this guy was cleverer than what I thought - he put up a good fight, I had to stab him. The died in his bed plan had to be set aside, I am afraid."

"No?" She tilted her head, "What would you call it then?" She was a bit disappointed that she didn’t get more of a reaction from him at the files. "Do you know how rarely that happens? That a criminal record just stops so suddenly? It doesn’t. What have you been getting yourself into, Sebastian?" She gave him a look. He was being detained by Mycroft Holmes and he was joking about it? How could he be so at ease?

Then again, he still thought Mycroft was going to be speaking to him personally. Really, Mycroft was watching as she questioned him. Mycroft thought he’d be less likely to have his guards up if he was questioned by someone he didn’t expect. She rose a grob, “Seize all the opportunities? What do you mean by that?”

"Oh, just that a day in which one doesn’t say something nice is a wasted day. It wasn’t really flirting, merely complimenting." Sebastian considered with a casual tone and a large mocking smile. He knew that it wasn’t really a good situation for him to be in, if Holmes had brought him there, but at the same time he was pretty sure that since they hadn’t caught him doing anything wrong it wouldn’t have taken much for Moriarty to get him out of there. He just had to avoid letting any detail of…anything slip from his lips and wait patiently.
"Don’t you believe in second chances, Miss Government? I have had some troubles in the past, I admit it, but then I got my head together and changed life. Isn’t this a wonderful and uplifting story?" he scratched his temple with a thoughtful expression: "And tat thing in the army, I’d call it…well, taking gifts to friends that sometimes gave me something back in return, that’s all. My intentions have been misunderstood - although I admit I wasn’t that much of a good soldier but you know, I’ve had to deal with borious dickheads for great part of my life, it tends to make you a little intolerant - you know what I mean, don’t you?"

"Take of your clothes, I have had some problems here. Things got a little…bloody."

A technicality, but I see your point.+MC

Of course, although if you did better jobs, the I’d be out of a job, I should think.+MC

"Hmm. Flirting won’t get you out of here any quicker. Sebastian Moran, you said?" She pulled out her phone and brought up his files.

"NAME: SEBASTIAN MORAN
AGE: 39
DOB: 1 APRIL 1975
RESIDENCY: LONDON

It says here you were a successful military man, but were dishonorably discharged for smuggling and insubordination. After that, you’ve got quite the impressive criminal record and then it just stops. So let me ask you again, Mr. Moran, why do you think Mr. Holmes might have asked you here?”

"Smuggling…I wouldn’t call that smuggling." Sebastian asked rolling his eyes as amused, although on a certain degree surprised that those files still existed. But, he considered, if there was someone who could have them it certainly had to be Mycroft Holmes. Apparenlty the pretentious prick truly didn’t forget a thing.
"Well as you said the criminal record stops, so I would say that either your boss wants to check on me or he really really misses my pretty face after so much time we haven’t seen each other, even though he doesn’t let it show in any way. These star-crossed lovers stories, you can’t get enough of them, can you." he said with a smile, looking up at her and tilting his head. "Sorry, didn’t meant to use it to get out of here. I just like to seize all the opportunities."

"Really? Well that surprises me, I would have never thought you were one for crowdy places full of…working-class people, or however you call us. Or for beer."

"How come you are looking for me at all? Is Batman back in town and we have to hide quickly?"

jamesmoriarti:

You could do to watch your language, Moran. I simply want to have a little chat.

"…Do I owe you any money? Is that why you know my name?"

"Look man, puns left aside - whoever you are, I don’t have money to pay you for…whatever you want to propose me to buy, or you have already given me. If you have at all - my memory is kind of blurry at the moment, honestly. You are wasting your time here."
